About the Instructor

Kate Bowen is an east coast native who has lived in San Diego County before and recently returned to the sunshine and blue Pacific. She studied photography and graphic design at Northeastern University in Boston, earned her teaching credential at San Diego State University and completed a Masters in Art Education at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She now lives in Carlsbad with her husband, son, dog and cockatiel.
