Opener: In your sketchbook complete the opener described on the board. Try using crosshatch and stipple dots to add value and give your drawings form.

Today we finish our Mini Color Books. If you don't finish them in class you should finish them for homework. In class today we will start our Mind Maps / Identity Webs. This is visual planning to help you think about aspects of your identity and how you can translate those qualities to symbols for our Symbol Silhouette Self Portrait Project.
