High Tech High North County held an incredibly successful Exhibition on Thursday, December 17. It was my first HTH Exhibition and it was thrilling, buzzing and very educational in many ways for me. My 10th grade students turned my classroom into a serene art gallery. They had all made realistic pencil drawings based on food-inspired still lifes that they created. These matted works of art were hung around the classroom for visitors to admire. On the long banquet table there were objects aranged with instructions for visitors to try their hand at obervational drawing. On another table visitors could color in a coloring book page created from the students art work. On the projector a slide show looped showing the students photographs used to create the pencil drawings. It was a fun night with lots of visitors going in an out of the "HTH Art Gallery".
