This is an interesting post where a 24 year old artist posted a portfolio of the work he's created since he could first hold a pen at age 2. I share this because it demonstrates that with practice you can get better at drawing. This artist did not pick up a pen at age 24 for the first time and create these pieces.

Current project: "Symbolic Self Portrait"

Trace your profile onto 9x12 drawing paper and use pencil to illustrate the interior of yourself.

Closer: Review of what we learned today and what we will do tomorrow.

Learning Objectives: Students will be able to critical evaluate their own photographs and apply new Photoshop editing skills.

Essential Question: How do I self-identify? How do I see myself?
