"Symbolic Self Portrait" due today.
Starting with a group critique then a self evaluation.
Turn in your completed work with your name on the back and the completed self evaluation.
Then we will go outside to do observational drawing in our sketchbooks.
Closer: Review of what we learned today and what we will do tomorrow.
Learning Objectives: Students will be able to critical evaluate their own work and that of their classmates. Students will make intentional choices of shapes, symbols and colors to put personal meaning into their own art work.
Essential Question: How do I self-identify? How do I see myself? How does color effect visual art?
